Can I Get An Exact Quote Over The Phone?

One of the biggest misconceptions with carpet cleaning is that you should be able to get an exact quote over the phone. I wish this was true, but it isn't.

If you would like me to tell you an exact cost of cleaning your carpet, I need to know the exact number of square feet that you want cleaned. You'll be glad to know that the carpet area to be cleaned is not nearly as great as most people think. For example, if you want your entire home cleaned and your home is 2000 sq. ft., the amount of carpeting might be only 1200 sq. ft. This is because most home measurements are outdoor measurements. Plus I make deductions for furniture you don't want moved such as wall units, beds and other unmovable pieces of furniture.

Other factors we look at include the type of carpeting. Certain types are just harder to clean. The amount of soiling is important. Carpeting that hasn't been cleaned for five years will take longer than carpeting that was cleaned just six months ago. Finally, how much furniture do want moved? If we move the furniture, the price will include that labor.

Our service packages start at just .30 cents per square foot. Room prices average $40 to $60 for basic cleaning. This means that you can get a discount for not cleaning carpet that is under furniture you do not have us move, such as dressers, beds, hutches, etc. or if rooms are empty.
